IR4LAB, A Saudi blockchain company, is expanding its business into Africa.
According to IR4LAB, the decision to expand into Africa is driven by a dedication to the continent and the objective of fostering innovation in advanced technologies. IR4LAB aims to implement various use cases using its blockchain solution, DocCerts, along with other solutions it provide.
During the Gitex Africa event, which was held in Morocco from May 31 to June 2, 2023. IR4LAB, a Saudi Arabian business that specializes in cutting-edge technologies like blockchain and artificial intelligence recently revealed ambitions to expand its presence in Africa.
According to IR4LAB, the choice to grow into Africa is motivated by a commitment to the region and the desire to promote innovation in cutting-edge technology. With the help of DocCerts, one of IR4LAB’s blockchain solutions, and other services, the company hopes to develop numerous use cases.

IR4LAB previously took part in the inaugural World Maintenance Summit 2023, which was held at King Mohamed 6 University in Marrakech, Morocco, on May 11 and 12. This summit was put together by EL Kandri stressed the value of blockchain in maintenance 4.0 and the benefits of using blockchain technology in industrial inspection throughout the occasion. He also provided specific examples from current IR4LAB initiatives to highlight the useful uses of blockchain in these fields.
Earlier, IR4LAB and SGS (Saudi Ground Services) made a joint announcement revealing their joint initiative to deploy the DocCerts blockchain management solution for digital documents related to training and licenses for ground service equipment at LEAP 2023, Saudi Arabia’s renowned technology event held in Riyadh from February 7 to 9. This implementation includes all 28 Saudi Arabian airports where SGS provides ground transportation.
IR4LAB has also achieved acceptance into the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology ‘Tech Champions Accelerator Program,’ which is powered by Plug and Play, a renowned entity from Silicon Valley.
